| dc.description.abstract | Práce se zabývá proměnami chápání pojmu metafyzika v dějinách filosofie. Začátek tohoto zkoumání přichází s definicí Aristotelovy "první filosofie", které je z velké části věnovaná první kapitola. V aristotelské tradici pokračuje Svatý Tomáš Akvinský, který v kontextu metafyziky zdůrazňuje pojem teologie. Druhá kapitola se věnuje novověku a kritika tradičního pojetí metafyziky z pohledu Immanuela Kanta. V další kapitole o moderní analytické filosofii si musí metafyzika obhájit svou potřebnost v kontextu nových metod zkoumání. Zásadní analytickou tezi rozvíjí Peter Frederick Strawson a jeho deskriptivní metafyzika. Analytická filosofie zahrnuje široké spektrum různých postojů k pojetí metafyziky, a tak mezi nimi nacházíme také ty, kteří se k metafyzice stavějí odmítavě. Tyto postoje jsou založené na přesvědčení o pravdivosti přírodních věd a nemožnosti uznat metafyziku a její pojmy za nesmyslné. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis deals with the change of understanding of term "metaphysics" in the history of philosophy. The start of this research comes with a definition of Aristotle´s "first philosophy" which is the first chapter dedicated mostly to. Thomas Aquinas, who emphasizes the term "theology", is the one to continue in this tradition. Second chapter includes modern times and a criticism of traditional conception of metaphysics from perspective of Immanuel Kant. In the next chapter, metaphysics must uphold its necessity in context of new methods of research. Fundamental analytic thesis is developed by Peter Frederick Strawson and his descriptive metaphysics. Analyltic philosophy includes a wide specter of different approaches to its conception and so we find among them also rejecting ones. These approaches are based on a convition that only natural sciences are true and to admit metaphysics its importance is a nonsense. | eng |
