| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vytvořením databáze knihoven na území Jihočeského kraje a jejich geografickou analýzou. Jejím hlavním cílem je zkoumání knihoven z pohledu prostorového a strukturálního. V úvodu je téma zasazeno do problematiky geografie kultury a služeb. Dále je dle klasifikace ekonomických činností CZ-NACE v práci zhodnocena zaměstnanost v oblasti kultury včetně knihoven se zaměřením na porovnání Jihočeského kraje s ostatními kraji České republiky. Poslední fáze zahrnuje analýzu vybraných ukazatelů hodnocení významu knihoven (počet čtenářů, velikost knihovního fondu aj.) ve vztahu k vybraným sociálně-demografickým charakteristikám obyvatel (vzdělání, věk, pohlaví) podle obcí kraje, včetně explanace souvislostí, především na základě provedených korelačních analýz. Na bázi těchto analýz je posouzena vzájemná závislost. Důležitou součásti práce jsou také mapové výstupy, které prezentují vybrané "knihovnické" charakteristiky v prostorových souvislostech. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor's thesis deals with creating of the database of libraries in the South Bohemian region and with geographical analysis of them. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse libraries from a spatial and structural point of view. In the beginning, the topic is set into issues of cultural geography and services. Assessment of the employment rate in the cultural section including libraries according to the classification of economic activities CZ-NACE is also part of this thesis and this assessment is focused on the comparison of the South Bohemian region with other regions of the Czech Republic. The last part of this thesis includes an analysis of selected indicators assessing the significance of libraries (number of readers, size of library fund, etc.) in relation to specific social-demographic characteristics of population (education, age, sex) according to the municipalities in region, including an explanation of connections based mainly on the correlation analyses that were done. Mutual relations are assessed on the basis of the results of these analyses. Maps representing chosen "library" characteristics in a spatial relations are also important part of this thesis. | eng |
