| dc.description.abstract | Náplní bakalářské práce je zejména téma cesty a cestování v čase v příbězích Diany Wynne Jones A Tale of Time City a Howl's Moving Castle. Dále se zaměřím na motiv setkání, identitu hlavních postav a v neposlední řadě na jejich minulost, přítomnost i budoucnost. Praktické části předchází část teoretická, v níž blíže rozebírám život a dílo autorky a zaměřuji se i na souvislosti mezi jejím životem a literární tvorbou. Následně popisuji základní teoretická východiska, podle kterých se v práci řídím, tedy funkci chronotopu a vliv románu zasvěcení. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this bachelor thesis is mainly the theme of the journey and time travel in the stories of Diana Wynne Jones A Tale of Time City and Howl's Moving Castle. I also focus on the motif of encounter, the identity of the main characters and, last but not least, on their past, present and future. The literary analysis is preceded by theoretical chapter, in which I describe the life and work of the author as well as the connections between her life and literary work. Then I analyse the basic theoretical resources I use in my bachelor thesis, such as the function of chronotope and the influence of the initiation novel. | eng |
