| dc.description.abstract | Práce se zabývá srovnávací analýzou konkrétních témat a motivů v tradičních českých a
anglických pohádkách. Teoretický úvod, charakterizující pohádky obecně, vychází z
myšlenek V. J. Proppa (struktura pohádky, funkce jednajících osob), A. van Gennepa
(význam přechodových rituálů), B. Bettelheima (důležitost fantazie v psychoanalýze),
C. G. Junga (význam archetypů) a J. R. R. Tolkiena (základní funkce pohádek). Těžištěm
práce je vlastní srovnávací interpretace, zaměřená na porovnání vybraných témat
(charakteristika postav, význam prostředí, úloha nadpřirozena v konfliktu dobra a zla,
motiv zkoušky) a vycházející z textů J. Jacobse, K. J. Erbena a B. Němcové. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor thesis deals with a comparative analysis of particular themes and motifs
in traditional Czech and English fairy tales. The theoretical introduction characterizing
fairy tales in general draws on the ideas of V. J. Propp (the structure of fairy tales,
functions of acting persons), A. van Gennep (the rites of passage), B. Bettelheim (the
importance of imagination in psychoanalysis), C. G, Jung (the role of archetypes) and J.
R. R. Tolkien (the main functions of fairy tales). The aim of the thesis is a comparative
interpretation, focused on the comparison of selected themes (the description of the
characters, the importance of the environment, the role of the supernatural in a
conflict between good and evil, the motif of a trial) and based on the texts written by J.
