| dc.description.abstract | Práce se zabývá šířením buddhismu do západního světa a jeho současnou situací v něm. Jedna kapitola je věnována buddhismu v České republice, jeho historii i jeho současné podobě. Poslední kapitola teoretické části nastiňuje důvody a okolnosti, za kterých se lidé ze zemí s křesťanskou minulostí obracejí k buddhismu.
V praktické části je uvedeno několik rozhorů s lidmi, kteří buddhismus praktikují, nebo praktikovali. Rozhovory sledují jejich motivace k zájmu o buddhismus a jejich názory na křesťanství. Druhá část praktické práce je mým komentářem k rozhovorům a shrnutím výpovědí respondentů. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | My work is about expanding of Buddhism to the Western world and its current situation there. One chapter is about Buddhism in Czech Republic, in its history and current form. Last chapter of the Theoretical part outlines reasons, why some people from countries with Christian tradition converts to Buddhism.
In practical part of my work, there are several interviews with people, which are or were practising Buddhism. Interviews follow their motivations in interest with Buddhism and also their opinions on Christianity.
