| dc.description.abstract | Práce se zabývá synchronní literární analýzou dvou starověkých textů - 2 Král 3 a Méšovy stély, jeţ se shodně zmiňují o izraelsko-moábském konfliktu a jsou tak povaţovány za dva rozdílné pohledy na identickou událost. Úkolem této práce bylo zjistit, zda je tomu skutečně tak či nikoliv.
Oba texty byly zanalyzovány, definovány literárním ţánrem a následně byly vzájemně porovnány výpovědi z obou textů o vojenském izraelsko-moábském konfliktu. Ve výsledku bylo zjištěno, ţe nelze s jistotou prohlásit, zda se v obou případech jedná či nejedná o shodnou událost. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The paper is concerned with the synchronic analysis of two ancient texts, i. e. 2 Kings 3, and the Mesha´s stele. Both of them mention an Israelite-Moabite conflict, and it is said they contain two different reports of the same event. The purpose of this thesis is to reconsider this assertion.
Both texts were analyzed and their respective literary genres were determined. Then the texts were compared with regard to the aforementioned conflict. At the end of the paper the author concludes, it is neither possible to affirm with any certainty, that both texts reflect the same historical event, nor to disprove it. | eng |
